Our Strong, Fire‑Resistant, and Cost‑Effective Roofing Solution
Single ply roofing has become a leading choice in recent decades, valued for its durability, fire resistance, and versatile performance. Made from high-quality plastic polymers, it offers a reliable and cost-effective solution for a wide range of roofing projects.
Benefits of Single Ply Roofing
Durability
Resistant to UV rays, chemicals, and weathering, with a long service life.
Flexibility
Adapts well to different roof shapes and building types.
Low Maintenance
Minimal upkeep required over its lifespan.
Energy Efficiency
Reflective surfaces (especially TPO and PVC) help reduce cooling costs.
Fire
Resistance
Our Single Ply Roofing options are fire-retardant and will comply with strict fire codes.
Lightweight
Options to put less stress on the building structure, compared to other roofing systems.
Quick Installation
Single Ply Roofing sheets combined with simple installation, reduce labor time and cost.
Environment
Friendly
Membranes are recyclable and can contribute to LEED credits.
What is Single Ply Roofing?
Most single ply roofing membranes are made from PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin). These materials are strong, long-lasting, and include plasticizers for added flexibility.
Single ply roofing is energy-efficient, stands up well to UV rays, and resists damage from acid rain and harsh chemicals. It’s also an eco-friendly choice because it’s recyclable and lasts longer than many other roofing options.
Fastening Methods Depending on Your Needs
The best single-ply roofing system depends on your building’s specific needs. Our experts will assess factors like height, wind exposure, roof traffic, appearance, and budget to recommend the right solution. We offer custom designs, fire barriers, and added insulation for improved performance in all weather. Not sure which option to choose? We’ll guide you every step of the way.
MECHANICAL
The membrane is attached to the roof deck using screws and plates. It’s quick to install and ideal for windy areas, but may allow some air movement under the membrane.
FULLY ADHERED
The membrane is glued directly using adhesives. This method provides a smooth, tight fit and strong wind resistance, but requires a clean, dry surface.
BALLASTED
The membrane is loosely laid over the roof and held in place with heavy materials like river rock or concrete pavers. It’s fast and cost-effective but best suited for flat roofs that can support the extra weight.
